At Eugene, Oregon, Vessey competed at the Prefontaine Classic in her colorful, cutout patterned outfit and Chanel logo earrings got nearly as much coverage as the fact that she stood second.

In early April Vessey participated in the race with somewhat trendy outfit which was a springy two-piece in aqua and radiant orchid. When Flotrack asked her about the look immediately after the race, she modestly demurred, “I just started making my own outfits! It’s just a little project that’s going on right now …”

In Los Angeles, at May’s USATF’s High Performance Distance competition, Vessey wore a chic “onesie.”

Vessey looked so trendy when she wore a Jokey-style waistband at June’s USATF Outdoor Championships in Sacramento.

Again at the USATF Outdoor Championship, Vessey came so trendy with a sporty neon, aviator sunglasses and a pink girlish track shoes which contracts theoutfit which she wore.
