Angira Dhar is a beautiful Bollywood actress born on 25 May 1991, in Srinagar, Kashmir. Prior to setting her feet in the industry as an actress, Dhar started as an associate producer on small screen and worked as an assistant director. The lovely lass also appeared in a few television commercials such as ‘Cadbury Dairy Milk’ and Dominos pizza.
She was also in for her debut in Bollywood with ‘Love Per Square Foot’. She bragged a lead role in the movie with actor Vicky Kaushal. The movie got streaming from February 14, 2018 on Netflix. Dhar plays the character of a strong-headed, new age girl Kareena D’souza who aspires to buy a house of her own in Mumbai.
She made her Bollywood debut in 2013, starring in the film called Ek Bura Aadmi starring Arunodaya Singh and Raghuvir Yadav.
In 2015 she was offered the female lead in a web series by Y-films, titled “Bang Baaja Baarat” in which she essayed the role of a spunky, feisty, young independent girl.The show revolves around a much-in-love couple, Shahana (Dhar) and Pawan (Ali Fazal) who decide to get married in an elaborate wedding. However, since Pawan is Brahmin and Shahana is Punjabi, chaos unfolds when both the families meet. The second season of the show started in September 2016. In 2018, she was cast as a lead actor for the first film to be directed by Anand Tiwari under RSVP (Ronnie ScrewvalaProduction) titled Love per Square Foot opposite Vicky Kaushal.
