Catherine Tresa is an Indian Film Actress and a Model. She was born on 10 September 1989 (age 29 years) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She mainly works in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries. Catherine made her acting debut in 2010 playing the role of Shilpa in Kannada film Shankar IPS. The same year she made her Malayalam debut through film The Thriller.
Catherine Tresa is a very versatile actress and works in several languages. She has worked in numerous hit films like Godfather, Iddarammayilatho, Madras, Rudhramadevi, Kanithan, Kadamban, Kalakalappu 2, Katha Nayagan, etc.

Catherine Tresa was born and raised in Dubai UAE by her father Frank Mario Alexander and mother Tresa Alexander. Her brothers name was Christopher. She completed her Class 12 in Dubai and moved to Bengaluru for higher education from St Joseph’s College, Bengaluru.
Beside acting Catherine also trained in piano, singing, dancing, ice skating and debating. She has modelled for brands like Chennai Silks, Fast Track, Josco Jewellers, Deccan Chronicle, Nalli Silks, etc.
