Coronation Avenue is lining up a jail fling for Rob Donovan.
Rob is at the moment serving a life sentence for the homicide of Michelle Keegan’s character Tina McIntyre in 2014, with the villain lately returning to our screens as a part of his sister Carla Connor’s transplant storyline.
Rob has provided Carla a kidney after his son Bobby visited him in jail and requested him to assist, although it is clear he has an ulterior motive up his sleeve.

In keeping with The Solar, upcoming scenes will see Rob strike up an intimate relationship with jail guard Mandy (performed by Shameless actor Rebecca Atkinson), who made her first look on the ITV cleaning soap this week as Matty threatened her with a knife.
