Diana Penty is an Indian model and actress, who predominantly appears in Hindi film industry. Diana began her career in 2006 by walking the ramp for Italian designers Trussadi and Ferre during the India-Italy festival. In 2008, Diana replaced Deepika Padukone as the face of the internationally renowned cosmetic brand Mabelline New York.

Born on 2nd November 1985 in Mumbai to a Christian mother and a Parsi father, Diana completed her graduation in Mass Media from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. During college, she used to work part-time as a fashion model, and was signed up by Elite Models India. Ever since, she hasn’t looked back, and has worked with the best of fashion designers in India like Rohit Bal, Rina Dhaka and Wendell Rodricks.

MOVIE CAREER
Diana started getting many offers from numerous directors across the country. She was initially slated to make her Bollywood debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar, but she turned down the film due to prior commitments. She was then launched in Homi Adajania’s Cocktail in 2012 opposite Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Randeep Hooda. The movie received good reviews at the box office, and Diana was appreciated for playing the role of Meera Sahni, a simple Indian girl who leaves her family in India to go to London to meet her husband.
Her 2016 release includes Happy Bhaag Jayegi, a rom-com directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film also stars Abhay Deol and Jimmy Shergill in pivotal roles.
