Mansi Srivastava is an Indian television actress. She was born on 21 September 1990 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is well known for playing the role of Heer in Zee TV’s show Rab Se Sohna Isshq and the lead role of Shivani in Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se on Zee TV.
She began her acting debut with Serial Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the Year as Jasleen Guggal. She also appeared in its Spin-off, Dil Boley Oberoi. She was a part of Fear Files.
She made her debut in the Hindi Television Industry, after completing her graduation, with the series, ‘Suvreen Guggal’ and her performance was widely appreciated by the audience. Following this, she starred in supporting role in series like, ‘Rab Se Sohna Isshq and Arjun’. She got an opportunity to star as a lead in the series, ‘Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se’, in the year 2013, aired on Zee TV.
Including this, she has also starred in series like, ‘Peterson Hill, Neeli Chatri Waale, Sasural Simar Ka, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya etc’. She has also made an episodic appearance in series, ‘Darr Sabko Lagta Hai’. Recently, she was seen in series, ‘Bigf’, aired on MTV, in the year 2015.
Breakup with Mohit Abrol:
Mohit and Mansi dated each other for more than 6 years and decided to get engaged in 2016. The news of Mohit and Mansi’s break came as a shock for many as they had been living together for many years.
Confirming her break-up with Mohit, Mansi had said, “There were compatibility issues and lack of understanding.”
“We wanted different things from life. Mohit and I gave our relationship many chances, but it just didn’t work out. I realised that it makes no sense to drag the relationship on and hence, I decided to end it in January this year(2019). Looking back, I feel that we could have worked it out if we had tried to handle things maturely and with a bit more understanding. But it’s all in the past now,” she added.
“I am glad that the break-up has been cordial. I cherish my time with Mohit and will always wish the best for him. In fact, I don’t mind being his friend,” Mansi told on her break-up.
