Prachi Tehlan is an Indian actress as well as a basketball player. In 2010, she was the caption of Indian netball team. She was very talented in Basketball having unique capabilities. The Times of India gave her title as “Queen of the court”. She was born to Narendra Kumar and Poonam Tehlan. She has one elder brother named Sahil Tehlan.
She has done her college from Jesus and Marry collage affiliated to Delhi University. She has done MBA in human relations. She is still single and happy she doesn’t like dating anyone. She likes focusing on her career and life goals.
In 2002, she played basketball in Kolkata and Pondicherry. In 2008, she played in Delhi grounds. In the same year, she ranked 1st in All India in Nelloor anInter-University in Bhubaneshwar. In 2009, she again ranked 1st in Punjab in Inter-university. Prachi stated her reasons to put her sporting profession on hold due to the need of opportunities and sponsors for female players of netball and basketball in India. At Present, she is playing a side character role in Diya Aur Baati Hum. She has also worked in short films on FOCUS TV, PRAGYA TV and much more. She was working as a consultant at Accenture.
In 2011, she won first Gold Medal in South Asian Beach Games. She has been titled as the prettiest sportswomen of India. She won a gold medal in 54th National games. She ranked 2nd in the international level by the Indian team.
In 2016, Prachi made her debut in star plus daily soap in Diya Aur Bati Hum as Arzoo. In 2017, she made her acting debut on silver screen with the Punjabi film called Arjan. Soon after making her debut, she was seen in another blockbuster Punjabi film Bailaras which also released in 2017. She was then in Tamil film titled The Door. She is currently busy promoting her newly launched television series tilted Ikyawann. She is playing the lead role opposite Namish Taneja in this series.
