Shashaa Tirupati is an Indian Canadian playback singer and voice-over artist. Shashaa was born on December 27 1987 in Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir). When she was eight months old her parents migrated to Canada. Shashaa spent her childhood in India and Canada, She kept moving between two countries.
At the age of six Shashaa Tirupati started singing on local radio channels and gave stage performances. Shashaa parents are musically inclined and encouraged her towards music. Most noteworthy at the age of ten, she started learning Hindustani Classical Music. Similarly, She was taken her training from Kamala Bose and Girija Devi.
Shashaa was graduated in 2005 from LA Matheson Secondary School in Canada. Above all she has completed masters from Symbiosis College, Pune in MBA marketing.
Shashaa Tirupati Music Career:
In 2007 Shashaa shifted her base to Mumbai. Initially Shashaa has participated in reality TV Shows & Singing events. While for some time Shashaa worked in music composition department, Sang Jingles and became a voice-over artist.
Consequently in 2013 Shashaa was caught the attention of A R Rahman, when he was auditioning for Cocke Studio. Rahman gave a chance to Shashaa to sing in superstar Rajinikanth film “Kochadaiiyaan”. Furthermore from that onwards, Shashaa never turned back.
“Vaada Vaada” was Shashaa’s first solo song and she sang another song “ Aye Mr Minor” for AR Rahman, for the film “Kaavaiyathavan”. Through this song, Shasha gained instant popularity in the Tamil industry. As a result, after this song, she got more offers from Tamil music directors.
Till now Shashaa sung more than 30 songs. Shashaa sang in many languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Bengali, English and Arabic.
Shashaa gave hit songs such as “The Humma Song” from OK Jaanu, “Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga” from Half Girlfriend, “Kanha” for Subh Mangal Saavdhan, “Mechanicle Sundariye” from 2.0 and “O Sona Tere Liye” from MOM.
Apart from the movies Shashaa sang Jingles and gave voice over in advertisements. Probably she is also a motivational speaker. Hence Tirupati was the part of Rahman in his Encore tour 2017. First of all Shashaa Tirupati performed at BRICS Summit in Goa along with Clinton Cerejo.

She is living in Mumbai and Shashaa parents lives in Canada. Shashaa has two siblings. Currently it seems like, she is single and not married.
