Varsha Bollamma is a south Indian film actress who appears in Malayalam and Tamil movies. She is best known for her striking face resemblance with popular Malayalam actress, Nazriya Nazim. In fact she first got noticed through Dubsmash videos, where she impersonated Nazriya through popular dialogues of her Tamil film, Raja Rani. It gave her big break to silver screen.

Varsha plays lead and supporting roles on big screen, and was most recently seen in 2018 Tamil blockbuster, 96, where she played Vijay Sethupathy’s photographer student who has a crush on him. Yaanum Theeyavan (Tamil), and Kalyanam (Malayalam) are other popular works, and she played lead roles in these films.Varsha Bollamma hails from Coorg, Karnataka. She grew up in Bangalore. She was a basket player before she came to films. She studied Micro Biology at Mount Carmel College.

She dreamed to become an actress, and she started uploading Dubsmash videos which became an instant hit. When she impersonated popular actress Nazriya Nazim, she got noticed and her popularity shoot up. It was a time when Nazriya took sabbatical from acting following marriage, and her fans have been missing her a lot.

Her face resemblance and body language with Nazriya proved to be lucky for her at this point of time, and she started receiving offers from films.She made her debut in the Tamil film, Sathuran, in the year 2015. After that she accepted both Tamil and Malayalam projects, in lead and supporting roles. Vetrivel, Ivan Yaarendru Therikirathaa, Yaanum Theeyavan, 96 etc are some of her Tamil releases later. Year 2018 proved to be good for this actress. She appeared in Vijay Sethupathy starrer 96, which was a blockbuster. She also appeared in a couple of Malayalam movies marking her debut – Kalyanam and Mandharam both released in 2018, and she played lead roles. Soothrakkaran is her upcoming Malayalam release, while she has signed an untitled Telugu film lately last year.
