WhatsApp’s outage on Tuesday left people scratching their heads and wondering what was wrong with their connection.

Billions of people worldwide were affected by the sudden outage of this popular messaging app.

Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, acknowledged the outage and said their engineers are working on the issue and will solve it as fast as possible.

WhatsApp is the most popular messaging app. As of 2020, over 100 billion messages are exchanged daily through WhatsApp.

The WhatsApp outage affected several people, government officials, and telecom service providers.

WhatsApp did not reveal the reason for the massive outage and only said they had fixed the issue.

Every hour that the company is offline, the company loses $222,000 and the previous six hour outage cost Mark Zuckerberg more than $8 billion.
