Meenakshi Chaudhary, miss Haryana is the first runner up of Miss India 2018 beauty pageant held in Mumbai. She lost the battle by a whisker and the most deserving Anukreethy Vas from Tamil Nadu won it. Meenakshi is from Haryana and this is the second straight year when a girl from Haryana makes it to the final round of this contest. Last year, it was Manushi Chillar who went on to become Miss India World.
