Bidita Bag is an Indian film actress and a professional model. She mainly works in Bollywood film industry. She was born on 30 September 1991 (age 27 years) in Santragachhi, Howrah, West Bengal, India. Bidita made her acting debut in 2011 with Bengali film Icche. She made her Bollywood debut in 2012 playing role of Prateek Chakravorty in film From Sydney with Love.
Bidita Bag worked in a Assamese film Ekhon Nedekha Nodir Xhipare in 2012. In 2015, she appeared in two more movie namely Odia film Bhaunri – The Sinking Reality and Hindi film X: Past Is Present. Later in 2016, she was seen playing Bulan Bhattacharjee in Bengali movie Sangabora. In 2017, Bidita again appeared in Bollywood movie Babumoshai Bandookbaaz alsongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Some of her upcoming movies include Once Again, T for Taj Mahal and Daya Bai.
Bidita Bag started her modeling career while she was in college. She came into limelight in Kolkata after working for designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Kiran Uttam Ghosh. She has worked for Lakme fashion week, Lakme Elle-18, Vaseline, Nokia, Motorola, Colgate, Reliance etc. Bidita has worked in TV commercials for brands like Fair and Lovely, 7UP, Samsung Corby TV, Wild Stone deodorant, etc.
Bidita Bag was born and raised in West Bengal by her father and mother. She has one brother who teaches at Delhi School of Economics. She completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Santragachi and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Fort William. Bidita has finished her graduation in Economics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
