Everything is ready! This Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17Mexico City is once again the meeting point for music lovers in the Ibero-American Festival of Musical Culture Vive Latino. This year, the lineup is filled with iconic bands, such as Belanova, Maná, Kings of Leon, Greta Van Fleet, Instituto Mexicano del Sonido, Silvana Estrada, James, Arroba Nat, Babasónico, Billy Idol, Junior H, Fito Páez, Panteón Rococó and Hombres G; to name a few.
The great news is that this edition of #VL24transcends borders virtually, with a live broadcast that you can watch completely free anywhere in the world through Amazon.
In addition to the festival, there will be interviews with various artists, as well as a behind-the-scenes experience of what happens at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The transmission, which will be under the direction of Pame Voguel, Gerudito, Nicole Horts, Leos, María Letona and Miguel Solís will take us to the festival for more than 12 hours, and you can tune in on the AmazonMusicEnVivo Twitch channel – with English subtitles -, Prime Video and on the Amazon Music application from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Mexico City time.
Music and more fun in one place
The festival, which held its first edition in 1998, has evolved in different ways, first increasing from one to two or three days, depending on the edition, and managing to include up to 80 bands on a single bill.
Music lovers have the opportunity to meet their favorite artists in an autograph signing booth; as well as witnessing surprise shows in which members of different bands come together to “take a hit”, that is, sing spontaneously, creating a unique moment that can only happen at this festival.
The public not only enjoys music, since Vive Latino offers various attractions such as a wrestling tent in which they will be able to enjoy a true encounter between renowned fighters. Laughter is present with a comedy tent with live shows. Within the event, the variety of food is extensive thanks to its gastronomic garden; and the decoration with lights and other surprises make the visit unforgettable.
